One such company is SteelSeries, founded in early 2001, they have been at the forefront of competitive PC gaming for over a decade and have helped the competitive gaming community get where it is today. With many different products, with many different designs and colour combinations available, there is always something for everybody in this huge market. Many companies these days either have a gaming brand, or focus primarily on gaming. Model: World of Warcraft Wireless MMO Mouse.I'm beginning to suspect my computer is possessed. Don't know if it's related to the base problems or not - and nothing of interest showed in the console or logs when I did it - but hey, it's more information. Tried this three times just to see if it was repeatable, and yes indeed. When I clicked the "Detect Displays," it provokes an instant mouse spaz-out that is only resolved by a reboot. Admittedly, it SHOULDN'T really matter, particularly since I'm using the HDMI port for it and not the Thunderbolt, but hey, why not. while diddling with everything, I realized I'd forgotten to tell my system what monitor I was using. Everything else looks to be things that should be running/requesting info or permissions/doing things in general. Nothing out of the ordinary showed in the logs only a couple of error messages starting from Chrome and rippling through assorted internet-savvy apps when I was resetting my router (all with the gist of "cannot find connection, retrying"). I've run out of ideas and this is growing steadily more aggravating. Loaded the System Monitor, checked My Processes, Idle Processes and All Processes, nothing out of the ordinary in terms of either computer/memory usage or names that shouldn't be there so far as I could tell. No problems on the disk itself, one tweaked Permission that I then repaired. Ran Disk Utility, Verified Disk and Permissions. Still running badly with random key doubling and mouse being spastic with the added entertainment of Netflix and Facebook crashing every other time I open them or running like molasses when they do decide to load. Redownloaded all the assorted drivers, redownloaded all the virus scan software, reinstalled Steam, Pages, Diablo and Chrome. Nothing found.ĭid the internet reboot (Holding R when restarting), reformatted and zeroed the hard drive, reinstalled (at this point it forced me back to 10.7.

Witcher I've got both the Steam download and the Apple Store download, both versions experience the issue. L4D and Isaac are being run through Steam, if that matters. Turned them to their minimum settings, problems continued. Sometimes they'd run fine as they always had, then they'd run terribly slowly and jerkily. Then Pages and my games (primarily Left 4 Dead, Binding of Isaac, Witcher 2 and Diablo 3) began behaving extremely erratically. Found a couple of pfishers in e-mails I hadn't opened, removed them, but that was all. Tried switching which USB ports, both on and off my hub, they're plugged in to. Tried my old Apple keyboard, same issues. My keyboard (Razer BlackWidow Ultimate) then started "doubling" key inputs, or not responding to them. Tried disabling the screen saver and system sleep options - since it usually seemed to happen after those came up - and still no fix Switched for a different mouse (generic Logitech USB), same problem. The cursor would jump all over the place, wouldn't respond to clicks, etc. My mouse (Steelseries Ultimate WoW mouse) suddenly started behaving erratically if I leave the system idle for a long period of time. Currently running 10.7 but can go to 10.8 when the urge overtakes me.) that had been running great until about two weeks ago.
